Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. It sets cookies, but we do not collect information that identifies you personally, such as your name or email address. You can turn it off in your browser settings or with Google's opt-out add-on.
Data behind the spot-sharing feature
The location you mark and any photos you attach (up to three) are stored in Cloudflare R2 and can be viewed by anyone who has the generated link. No account is required and we collect no name or email address. Treat the link as effectively public: please avoid uploading photos with other people in them, or anything that would identify where you live. Email us if you want something deleted.
Location access
Your location is read from the browser only when you press the locate button, and only to show your position on the map. It is never sent to or stored on our servers.
Third-party services
Map tiles come from OpenFreeMap, fonts from Google Fonts, and hosting and image storage from Cloudflare. These services receive the information needed to serve the request, including your IP address.
