FAQ

When does it start and end?

Saturday, November 14, 2026, with about 11,100 shells from 6 to 7 PM. Paid areas open at 3:30 PM and sponsor areas at 3 PM. It goes ahead in light rain and may be cancelled in severe weather such as strong winds or a typhoon.

Where are the fireworks launched?

From the Arakawa side of the pond between the baseball field and the BBQ area next to Ukima Golf Course. The paid seats are on the riverbed and levee just north of the launch site.

What paid seats are there and how much?

Seat A (garden chairs) is reserved, ¥33,000 per table of 4, on the flat riverbed (sold only as a set of 4; tables can't be moved). Seat B (levee mats) is unreserved, ¥3,300 per person; you get a mat about 90 cm square at reception (no chairs allowed). Everyone aged 3 and over needs a ticket; under-3s are free on a parent's lap, one per adult.

Where can I buy tickets?

From CN Playguide online (no membership needed), at FamilyMart multi-copy machines (keyword 「カワグチハナビタイカイ」), or by phone at 0570-08-9999 (10 AM–6 PM). Sales close at 5 PM on the day, November 14, with up to 20 seats per order. Lost tickets can't be reissued and you can't enter without one. Refunds are only given if the event is cancelled before the fireworks start.

Where can I watch for free?

The levee slope west of the Ukima Golf gate is the free area. Spots can be saved from 12:00 noon on the day, on this slope only; you can't watch from the paths or the roads at the top or bottom of the levee. Spray, tape and pegs are banned. Last year entry was closed at about 5:30 PM, with no re-entry after that. Use the restrooms at Nishi Junior High School grounds.

Where are the entrance gates?

At the east "Asuka DC gate", Seat A and sponsor seats enter from the top of the levee and Seat B from the bottom. At the west "Ukima Golf gate", Seat A and sponsor seats enter at the top of the stairs and Seat B at the top of the ramp. The Ukima Golf gate is usually less crowded. You need your ticket to re-enter, so keep it when you leave.

Is there car or bicycle parking?

There is no car parking, so please don't drive. Bicycles can be parked at three places, all from 12:00 noon: Iizuka 3-chome Park, Iizuka Elementary School grounds (motorbikes OK) and Haramachi Elementary School grounds.

What road closures are there?

Roads around the venue are closed to vehicles 4–9 PM on November 14 (some from 2 PM, some from 7 PM). Tap a line on the map for its hours. Kokusai Kogyo bus route Kawa 51 stops after the 1:50 PM departure from JR Kawaguchi Station (1:25 PM from Nishi-Kawaguchi). Cars parked inside the closed area can't leave during the closure. Positions are traced from the official map and approximate, so check the official PDF too.

When is a cancellation decided?

For weather on the day, the organizers check the site at 8 AM, 12 noon and 3 PM and announce any cancellation on the official website. If heavy rain or strong wind starts during the show, it may end early.

Are there toilets and food stalls?

There are several toilets inside the venue, with an accessible restroom near the wheelchair seats. Free-area visitors should use the toilets at Nishi Junior High School grounds. About 50 stalls inside the venue (3–7 PM) are for paid-seat holders only; about 15 food trucks outside (2–7 PM) are open to everyone. No smoking anywhere inside, including e-cigarettes, and no pets. Please don't use umbrellas; bring a raincoat.

Can I send my saved spot or a meeting point to friends?

Yes. Long-press the map to mark a meeting point, attach up to 3 photos of nearby landmarks, and send the link. Recipients need no app: the spot and photos open in the browser on the event map, with viewing areas and road closures.
