Where is Venue 2?

Venue 2 is on the Sumida River between Komagatabashi and Umayabashi. It starts around 7:30 PM, 30 minutes after Venue 1 (Sakurabashi–Kototoibashi, from around 7:00 PM). Both areas are outlined on the map on this page.

What time does it start and end?

7:00–8:30 PM. Venue 1 starts around 7:00 PM, Venue 2 around 7:30 PM.

What time do road closures start?

Vehicle restrictions run from about 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM and pedestrian restrictions from about 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM around the venues. Restricted sections are shown on the "Traffic Restriction" layer of the map. Check the official website for the latest details.

Is it cancelled if it rains?

Held in light rain; cancelled in severe weather. The decision is announced on the official website on the day.

Are there less-crowded viewing spots?

Higashi-Shirahige Park and Shioiri Park — free parks a little away from the venues — are relatively calmer. Check the viewing areas on the map too.

Which stations are closest?

Asakusa, Tokyo Skytree, and Oshiage stations. They get extremely crowded, so Kuramae or Hikifune are good alternatives.

When should I claim a viewing spot?
