The 2026 event has ended. This map will be updated once 2027 details are announced.Next: Tsuchiura All Japan Fireworks Competition (Sat, November 7) →
Maps keep updating. Previously viewed maps work with a weak signal.
Launches are scheduled to begin at 5:30 PM on Saturday, October 24, 2026.
Official viewing venues require advance registration, and you cannot stop to watch on sidewalks outside the venues. Venues open at 3:30 PM, there is no re-entry, and no same-day tickets are sold. You need a paper ticket to enter; purchase records and winning emails are not accepted (mobile signal is unreliable near the venues, so print it at a convenience store in advance). Check the official website for application and entry rules.
It depends on the venue: Kachidoki and Tsukishima (Toei Oedo Line) for Harumi and Toyomi; Takeshiba, Hinode and Shibaura-futo (Yurikamome), JR Hamamatsucho, Toei Daimon and JR Tamachi for Takeshiba and Shibaura; Odaiba-kaihinkoen and Daiba (Yurikamome) and Tokyo Teleport (Rinkai Line) for Odaiba; Toyosu, Shin-toyosu and Shijo-mae for Toyosu; Kokusai-tenjijo (Rinkai Line) and Ariake-tennis-no-mori (Yurikamome) for Ariake. There is no car or bicycle parking.
On Saturday, October 24, 2026, from about 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM (varies by location), restrictions apply to Shuto Expressway Routes 10 (Harumi) and 11 (Daiba), Kanjo Route 2, parts of Harumi 2-chome and 5-chome, parts of the Odaiba Seaside Park area, and the sidewalks of Harumi Bridge, Toyosu Bridge and Rainbow Bridge. Some public transport will be rerouted or rescheduled (official announcement, September 17, 2026).
It goes ahead in light rain. It may be cancelled for typhoons or severe weather; the decision is announced at 9:00 AM on the day. There is no postponement date.
Umbrellas (bring a raincoat instead), selfie sticks, tripods, chairs and tables, kick scooters, glow sticks and large luggage such as suitcases are not allowed. Pets are not allowed except guide and assistance dogs. Venues are completely non-smoking (including e-cigarettes); smoke only in designated areas. The Toyosu and Ariake venues have no smoking areas.
Every venue has wheelchair seats, entered with a wheelchair-seat ticket. In the Harumi, Toyomi, Toyosu and Ariake areas one ticket covers one wheelchair user plus one companion; in the Minato and Daiba areas up to six tickets can be requested. Every venue has toilets, with accessible toilets in the wheelchair areas.
Around Harumi on Tokyo Bay, with viewing venues along the waterfront in Harumi, Takeshiba, Shibaura, Odaiba, Toyosu and Ariake.
It depends on your viewing venue. For Harumi and Toyomi, take the Toei Oedo Line from Shinjuku or Roppongi to Kachidoki with no transfers. For Takeshiba, Hinode and Shibaura, use Hamamatsucho or Tamachi stations on the JR Yamanote and Keihin-Tohoku lines. For Odaiba, Toyosu and Ariake, take the Yurikamome from Shimbashi or Toyosu. Stations are packed after the show, so top up your IC card (Suica, PASMO) beforehand.
Each venue has set entry gates and a set walking route from the nearest station, shown on the map (official announcement, October 14, 2026). Harumi and Toyomi use gates 1–10, Toyosu gates 1–9, Ariake gates 1 and 2, Odaiba Seaside Park the East Gate, and each of the four Minato venues has one gate.
Every venue has food stalls (1 to 15 per venue). Alcohol is sold at Harumi Pier Park ①②, Harumi Ryokudo Park ⑥, Harumi Rinkai Park ⑦, Toyomi Sports Park ⑧, Odaiba Seaside Park ⑬ and the Toyosu venues ⑭–㉓, but not at the Harumi Passenger Terminal ③④⑤, the Minato venues ⑨–⑫ or the Ariake venues ⑲–㉑. Stock is limited and there is no re-entry, so buy before you arrive if you are worried about sell-outs.
The Rinkai Line adds seven trains each way from about 4:00 to 10:00 PM, and the Yurikamome runs a special timetable every 3–4 minutes from about 1:30 to 10:30 PM. Toei Subway, the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line, Toei buses and Tokyo BRT also plan special timetables, and other lines may change too.
